A very nice 19th century violin that has a big sound, quick response, and is tonally even across the strings, this instrument recently received a thorough restoration. The work that was performed includes various crack repair, neck reset/reshape, bass bar crack repair complete with a new bar, fingerboard planing, and a new bridge and sound post. It was completely restored to proper specifications and is a favorite among people who have played the instruments in our gallery.

Currently on display at Sixth Generation Strings in Saratoga Springs, NY
